Improve your estimation process by using your data effectively.
Having data alone to forecast future costs and schedules does not automatically improve your estimation process. The reality is that there are many ways in which data may actually be used, and it takes some thought into just how you might exploit the information.
This webinar will:
•Discuss how software project data can be collected, stored in the SEER historical database, and then leveraged within the SEER for Software estimation model.
•Show examples of how the use of historical data can be built into an overall estimation process and discuss the different roles and responsibilities required for collecting, analyzing and using data.
•Provide users with the tools and methods needed not only for a data collection system, but also processes that make meaningful use of the data.
Parametric estimating has its roots in the use of data to forecast what future costs and schedules will be for new projects. Many organizations either are collecting data on projects or plan to do so in conjunction with setting up an estimation process.
Join us and learn how to use your data for the best possible outcome.
