Galorath Incorporated started off in 1979 as Galorath & Associates Consulting. During the 80's, in response to a growing need from our consulting customers, we developed the SEER suite of estimation technologies and services. Today our consulting work continues to be one of our core strengths. As the leader in estimation processes, methodologies, and tools, there is very little in the way of project estimation that Galorath cannot address. Specific consulting services include process assessment, design, and documentation to development of detailed project estimates (cost, effort, duration, and risk), to customization of databases, knowledge bases, and tools.

While SEER solutions will bring about productivity gains almost immediately, they will bring the greatest gains to organizations that integrate the tools in the context of sound estimating processes, related project automation tools, well-trained users and the project management community, at large.

Assessment and Architecture

Galorath consultants have hundreds of years of combined experience in project estimation, process design, cost analysis, and project management standards and best practices. This diversity of experience enables us to offer both broad and deep industry, project, and organizational awareness. Our consultants will work with your internal staff to assess specific estimating environment and define areas for improvement. Deliverables include a gap analysis and recommendations for improvement.

Galorath consultants are highly skilled, senior professionals who can deploy and configure SEER solutions to address unique business and operating environments with virtually no service interruption.

When most people think of integration and customization they think of data transfer, automated system interaction, and embedded menus. And certainly part of the integration process is defining what integration means to your organization: Galorath consultants will never over-engineer your integration, and equally important, will work to ensure that not only systems, but users, administrators, managers and executives are all working toward the same objectives.

Project Support

Galorath has estimation “greybeards” who can help your organization prepare, validate, and submit accurate, well-documented estimates and proposals. When timeframes are tight, Galorath consultants can be engaged to expedite the learning curve for new users, strengthen the capabilities of experienced users, or simply to supplement current staff levels when extra resources are required short term. Project support engagements vary widely, but can include:
