New Data On ERP Implementation & Schedule Slips

Thanks to Michael Krigsman for his article “ERP implementation benchmark: Comparing SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft“  THis article shows implementation schedule slipage data for ERP implementation.  The most interesting from my read is the reasons for schedule slips:

Ealier than scheduled 11%
On-schedule 28%
Over-Schedule 61%
